Dr Alexey Kondyurin

Ewingar Scientific was founded by Dr Alexey Kondyurin – an aerospace physicist and composite material scientist who has worked in academia and scientific research for 30+ years in Russia, Germany and Australia. Dr Kondyurin has published over 120 peer-reviewed academic journal articles and books, and has presented his groundbreaking research at numerous academic and industry conferences around the world. In 2017, Dr Kondyurin retired as a Senior Researcher in the School of Physics, University of Sydney, and established his own consultancy practice, Ewingar Scientific, located in northern New South Wales (Australia). Ewingar Scientific has its own research laboratory, and collaborates with other scientists, multi-disciplinary researchers, industries, and professionals across the globe, to provide the research and industry sectors with the most cutting edge research and development in the fields of material science, biomedical science, and large space constructions.
Research Interests
Ewingar Scientifc are involved in research projects in the areas of fundamental physics and practical applications, including materials physics, plasma deposition and processing, thin film materials, vacuum glazing, renewable and sustainable energy and cross-disciplinary research in the areas of biointerfaces and interactions of biosystems for medicine.
Ewingar Scientific have a deep passion for researching and developing large space constructions, including inflatable space stations, space solar panels, and space antennas.

- Scientist-in-charge of flagship plasma facility at the University of Sydney
- Astronautic Association Award “Medal of Achievements in Astronautics”, 2008
